Job Details - Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel RN)

- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Start Date: 9/28/2026
- End Date: 12/19/2026
- Assignment Length: 12 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour days, typically 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,480 - $1,560
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Holiday Expectations: Must work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday during the assignment
Job Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current AHA BLS certification
- NRP certification required
- AWHONN certification required
- Experience with Cerner preferred
- Strong clinical skills in obstetric nursing, maternal assessment, and fetal monitoring
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-focused healthcare environment
Responsibilities - Provide safe, high-quality care to laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Support patients experiencing pregnancy-related complications such as preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor
- Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
- Deliver compassionate education and support to patients and families throughout the care experience
- Maintain a professional, flexible approach in a busy Labor & Delivery setting
